Hi!
We are Adri from México, Caro from Bolivia and Emi from Germany. We are volunteering at Treloar Trust, which is a school, college and residential care home that enables education for young people with disabilities.
We wanted to experience new cultures, meet new people and do something meaningful before we take the next step in our lives. And we have accomplished that. We travelled to different places inside and outside of the UK – like when we all went to Cambridge for Adri’s birthday! We’ve become a multicultural family with all of our project’s volunteers, we’ve organized game nights, movie night and an international hot dog night 🙂 We love sharing our cultures through food and chatting.
We all had lots of doubts and fears about coming here, but honestly we were surprised how irrational our fears were and that it all turned out so wonderful :). Even though our time here is limited, we have so much more to learn and experience. We are forever grateful that we get to experience it together <3
